SkyCell Unveils 1500X Hybrid Container

SkyCell, a manufacturer of pharma containers, has launched its new 1500X container, a hybrid container that enables pharma shipments for products that need to be kept at 2-8°C (36-46°F) or 15-25°C (59-77°F), and has a tested market-leading independent runtime of 270 hours at 20°C (68°F). The container also comes fully equipped with SkyCell’s proprietary SECURE software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for in-transit monitoring.

The objective for this new container is to help temperature-sensitive goods remain unaffected even through unforeseen circumstances. Meanwhile, alongside that, SECURE provides customers real-time visibility of shipments, which can help close supply chain visibility gaps and allow corrective actions to be made through critical data that is gathered during transportation.
