Acquisition adds more expertise in epidemiology and patient outcomes analysis
Precision for Value, a unit of New York-based Precision for Medicine, is adding Redwood Outcomes, based in Vancouver, BC to its stable. Earlier this year, the company had acquired Precision Health Economics (PHE); Redwood will be managed as a subsidiary of PHE, says the company.
Precision for Medicine itself comes together as a group of consulting organization and service providers, mostly for pharma clients: Hobart Group Holdings, Core Access Group, and PHE. The company has 10 offices (now 14, presuming the Vancouver office will remain open), and operates both in the US and in Europe. It specializes in market access issues, payer and managed markets research and promotion, health outcomes and contract administration.
