Pelican Biothermal introduces a modular bulk shipper
Wide capacity range combines with CRT, refrigerated and frozen shipping
Peli BioThermal (the UK unit of Pelican Biothermal) is introducing the CoolPall Flex containment system at Clinical Trial Supply Europe (Milan, March 14-15). The unit adds to the variety of bulk cold-chain shipping options of Pelican, as well as to the options for choosing passive units over active (powered) containers for long-distance shipments of pharmaceutical products and materials.
According to spec sheets being provided at the event, CoolPall features a modular system of standard or vacuum-insulated panels, which can be assembled into volumes ranging from 140 to 767 L (5 to 27 cu. ft.). Cooling is provided by water, or phase-change materials for 15-25°, 2-8° or -20°C shipping.
