DHL Global Forwarding expands operations in Boston
The station is part of a strategic US growth plan
DHL Global Forwarding, already one of the leading logistics firms managing pharmaceutical shipping internationally, has expanded its Boston office, where it “has seen a significant increase in growth … over the last few years within the technology, life sciences and public sector industries, all areas where DHL has significant experience and is ready to share its expertise,” said Lucia Mulvey, Boston station manager, in a statement.
The company will have logistics experts available for a full range of shipping services: air freight, charter services, ocean freight, customs brokerage, warehouse & distribution and domestic air & road. From that office, it manages dedicated night line hauls to and from JFK International Airport, dedicated local transfers to Boston Logan International Airport, international and domestic white glove pick-up and delivery services, ocean and air charter service, as well as in-house licensed customs brokerage service.
