Multiple locations in Mexico and Brazil can now be served more quickly
DHL Express has launched DHL Medical Express between Brazil and the US, and Mexico and the US, in light of higher demand from the life sciences industry for faster and more predictable lead times, according to the company. The enhanced service is especially desirable for temperature-sensitive biologics, in clinical trials or for patient treatment.
In the case of Brazil, Medical Express can bring shipment from “several major cities in Brazil” to most US destinations in 24-48 hours. For Mexico, DHL operates direct daily flights from Mexico City, Guadalajara and Monterey, linking to its regional hub at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), and then connecting to most U.S. cities and central lab locations the next morning and in less than 24 hours from patient draw time.
