TCP will now be known as Integreon Global
Two coincidental announcements bring some name changes to the cold chain services field: TCP Reliable, a longtime provider of insulated packages and services for temperature-controlled shipments, is now Integreon Global. Meanwhile, at CSafe Global, the provider of powered, temperature-controlled air-freight containers, Patrick Schafer, former CFO and interim CEO, is now officially the company’s CEO.
Integreon has four business units; with the name change, Maurice Barakat, CEO, says that “Not only are we promoting internal collaboration, but also the partnering of Integreon specialists with our clients. This is key to maintaining product integrity throughout manufacturing and distribution.” The four companies: Launchworks, a contract development and manufacturing organization, mostly for life sciences laboratories; Cryopak, producer of cold chain packaging and temperature monitoring devices; DDL, providing packaging, product and material testing services; and NexKemia manufactures expandable polystyrene (EPS) resin. (Many of Cryopak’s products use EPS resin.)
At CSafe, Schafer says that “We’ve made significant additions to our team and have rapidly expanded our active container fleet. We have an unrivaled global footprint and are eager to share our world-class cell and gene solutions and our new artificial intelligence platform.”
