With the new additions, CDMO expands its analytical testing and development services
Berkshire Sterile Manufacturing (BSM), a fill-finish contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) that specializes in small-scale sterile filling of vials, syringes, and cartridges for the biotech and pharma industries, purchased and validated new analytical instruments to expand its testing and development capabilities.
While the company’s primary service offering is sterile filtration and filling of parenterals, BSM also provides analytical support for drug product lots produced onsite and extensive development services, including method development, to help create and optimize robust methods for in-process or release testing.
“This technology is able to detect changes in charge profiles over time, which makes it an excellent solution for evaluating drug product stability,” notes Devin Wigington, VP of quality control.
