HDMA brings GIRP and IFPW together in Brussels
Following its successful first international meeting last year in China, this year the Healthcare Distribution Management Assn. is going to Europe—Brussels, Belgium to be specific, for a second international meeting, to be held on Nov. 12-13. Like its domestic Distribution Management conference in the US, the meeting showcases technologies and business practices to elevate distribution practices.
HDMA will be joined by GIRP (the European Assn. of Pharmaceutical Full-line Wholesalers) and IFPW, the International Federation of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers. Program topics will include pharmaceutical traceability and verification systems; the impact of international trade agreements; and building collaborative supply chain partnerships, says HDMA.
“As many pharmaceutical distributors and manufacturers look outside the U.S. to expand their portfolios and gain ideas to strategically build their businesses internationally, HDMA is continuing its efforts to bring together supply chain leaders from around the world to understand the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly globalized industry,” said HDMA president and CEO John Gray.
