Life Science Logistics triples its Indianapolis warehouse space
Strong growth of existing clients and new product introductions are justification
Life Science Logistics (Dallas, TX), a mid-size third-party (3PL) provider, is not only at work on tripling its Indianapolis facility to 200,000 sq. ft., but is already making plans for a next stage of expansion at some point in 2017, the company says. The current expansion will be online in as soon as a month; John Blackington, director of business development, says that the existing space will be dedicated to cold chain and DEA-regulated products, while the new space will be filled with conventional ones. The company had expanded its cold-chain and DEA-regulated space in 2015; continued business growth necessitates this next expansion.
LSL has four US locations (Dallas, Indianapolis, Baltimore and Atlanta, which will now total 1.5 million sq. ft of capacity exclusively for life sciences products. In addition to the storage, it offers 3PL logistics services, including distribution, order to cash and regulatory compliance.
