New facility expands presence in APAC region, providing additional availability to clients
Tower Cold Chain—a company that rents containers to the pharma industry for temperature-specific transport—is opening a new location in Tampines, Singapore, to support the company’s growth in the Asia Pacific (APAC) region.
A 10-minute drive from Singapore Changi Airport, Tower notes that the facility will help expand its proximity and availability to customers, improving their access to its commercial and operational staff. The aforementioned plant features private offices that are available for customer use, providing a space for meetings and consultations, streamlining Tower’s admin presence in the APAC. The facility is home base to six industry experts, who will be available to provide support to Tower customers whenever necessary.
The new space also supports Tower’s growing network of hubs located throughout APAC, Europe, Middle East, Africa (EMEA), and the Americas regions—with recent new hub openings including Incheon (South Korea), Chicago (IL), and Milan (Italy).
“… To meet the growing demand for reliable temperature-controlled solutions to the APAC pharmaceutical, airline, and [third-party logistics] 3PL markets, the Singapore site strengthens our service offerings and further underlines our commitment to provide quality-assured, dedicated cold chain services for temperature-sensitive pharmaceutical and biotech products,” says Niall Balfour, Tower’s CEO.
