Advisory firm sets up elsNetwork for benchmarking commercial practices
TGaS Advisors (East Norriton, PA), which has been providing benchmarking and related consulting services focused on commercial operations in pharma for the past decade, is organizing a new network, to be called elsNetwork, targeted at young life sciences firms. “We recognized an unmet need in the emerging and pre-commercial market for our services, which led us to the launch of the new network,” says the company. Already, 15 firms have signed on and TGaS expects it to grow to 50 in the first year.
TGaS has an uncommon focus among consulting firms serving biopharma: most of its work is exclusively in commercial operations, including marketing, market access/managed markets; sales, sales operations, market research, marketing operations and sales training. It polls members routinely in these practice areas, and then shares best-practices information within its client base. Starting in June, a new service called TGaS Insights will provide member companies with broader, self-driven access to selected benchmark data and expert advice. Eventually, there will be some cross-sharing between elsNetwork and TGaS’ base of Big Pharma clients.
The initiative is headed by Gary Warner, TGaS vice president.
