Companies will work together on delivering improved patient access and clinical trial diversity
Syneos Health, a biopharma clinical and commercial solutions organization, has struck a strategic partnership with Medable, a cloud platform for patient-centered drug development, to bring clinical trials closer to the patient. The collaboration will provide Syneos Health with new decentralized capabilities, with an objective of increasing clinical trial diversity, while also improving patient access and transforming biopharma product development.
Per the agreement, Medable will now become a part of the Syneos Health Dynamic Assembly network.
The services provider will now have access to Medable’s digital platform, which is intended to decrease physician burden, simplify the patient journey and collect data to accelerate therapies to patients across the clinical development process. It delivers on-site and at-home access on any web-enabled device using Medable’s TeleVisit, TeleConsent, TeleCOA and remote patient monitoring tools.
Late last year, Syneos acquired Illingworth Research Group, a clinical research home health services provider, to help offer its expertise in mobile research nursing.
