Program adds a one-day seminar on business continuity planning
The Spring 2012 Health and Personal Care Logistics Confernce is scheduled for Apr. 2-4, in its usual location at the Rittenhouse Hotel in Philadelphia. The semiannual gathering brings together logistics and supply chain managers throughout the life sciences industry, as well as key vendors and academics. The theme of this year’s program is "Building Adaptable Supply Chains in the New Turbulence."
The topic of supply chain security is the focus of a session presented by Eugene Hackett, director of corporate security for Latin and Central America, and Katie Freisen, transportation security manager at J&J. A session on network modeling and scenario planning will be held by Dr. John Bell of the Univ. of Tennessee. Gary Lynch, of Marsh and McClanahan, and Mark Yunker of RJ Ahmann Co., will address industry insurance issues. On Apr. 4, a one-day seminar on business continuity planning will be conducted by Michael Deloso of Deloitte Consutling.
