The transaction serves as way to expand customers’ access to products and capabilities.
Resource Label Group, LLC, a provider of label and packaging solutions including pressure sensitive labels, pharmaceutical packaging, and radio frequency identification/near-field communication (RFID/NFC) technology, has acquired Beyer Graphics, a specialty pharmaceutical and healthcare packaging business.1
The company’s high-tech plant focuses on providing packaging solutions, including such as custom folding boxes and cartons to various sectors, including over-the-counter (OTC), pharmaceutical, vitamin, supplement, and cosmetics clients.
“Our team is excited to join RLG, as the partnership will increase our ability to better meet the needs of our growing customer base,” said Daniel Beyer, president of Beyer Graphics. “As part of the RLG Healthcare business, our customers will have access to a broader portfolio of products and capabilities that will expand our ability to provide the innovative packaging solutions our customers require.”
Mike Apperson, president and CEO of Resource Label Group, was thrilled about the expansion of the RLG Healthcare team.
“We are thrilled to welcome the talented team at Beyer Graphics to the RLG family,” he said. “This addition significantly strengthens our fast-growing RLG Healthcare business and reinforces our commitment to meeting the needs of our pharmaceutical and healthcare customers.”
Kevin Grogan, CEO of RLG Healthcare added that “It is an exciting time for RLG Healthcare as we continue to rapidly grow and expand our commitment to the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. “The addition of Beyer Graphics will immediately strengthen our service, quality, and product offering to our customers.”
RLG Healthcare was created back in February2 to cater to the aforementioned industries, but it also includes clinical, medical devices, and biotechnology.
The new business currently has six locations in the greater Raleigh-Durham area; Winston-Salem, NC; Windsor, NJ; Simi Valley, Calif.; Buffalo, NY; and Salt Lake City, UT. RLG notes that each plant is prepared to deliver the same quality capabilities that are powered by its certified good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards, International Organization for Standardization (ISO) certifications, and G7-qualified facilities.
“This is an exciting time for our people and our customers,” expressed Grogan. “Our team is comprised of career pharmaceutical and packaging professionals who have a passion for quality and providing unmatched customer service. Our customers know that we understand their business and stand ready to deliver the innovative and compliant solutions they need in the ever-changing healthcare sector.”
