In the third part of Pharmaceutical Commerce Magazine's "Peer Exchange: RFID Testing and Experimentation" podcast, Axia's Bahar Aliakbarian, PhD, shares how Axia Lab conducts fundamental research of RFID tags and describes the pilot research being conducted on the feasibility of RFID for pharmaceutical traceability. Axia regularly tests inlay tag designs to determine if pharmaceutical formulations affect a tag performance. The pilot research, initiated by Axia in cooperation with industry partners, identified more than a 99% read-rate in a pilot study completed in 2023.
