DB Schenker, JAS, Medista, MSC Air Cargo, OnAsset Intelligence, and xpd global round out the latest additions.
Pharma.Aero—a link that provides the safe transportation of medicine, cures, and vaccines from manufacturing plants to patients—has added six new members to its association.1
Full members include DB Schenker and JAS, while the remaining four will be associate partners, including Medista, MSC Air Cargo, OnAsset Intelligence, and xpd global. Currently, Pharma.Aero has a global network of over 70 pharma-certified logistics stakeholders and life science manufacturers, and strives to foster collaboration in the life science logistics space.
"It is with pleasure that we acknowledge multiple new members joining the Pharma.Aero ecosystem,” says Frank Van Gelder, Pharma.Aero’s secretary general. “This membership growth empowers us to advance significant projects and offer valuable insights, reinforcing our commitment to the industry."
Dorothee Becher, DB Schenker’s head of airfreight pharma & healthcare Europe, also noted the value of the partnership saying, “We are delighted to be part of the Pharma.Aero network, which shares our vision of excellence and innovation in pharma logistics. This partnership will allow us to collaborate with other members to shape the future of the air cargo industry.”
In the cold chain logistics sector, Pharma.Aero was in the news late last year after entering into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Cool Chain Association, an industry association that specializes in temperature-controlled logistics.2
