PCI Pharma Services expands its clinical capabilities in Ireland

Having acquired Millmount Healthcare, near Dublin, in 2017, PCI Pharma Services is now expanding the packaging and logistics capabilities at the site. A 75,000-sq.ft. expansion will be completed in the next several months, enabling more primary and secondary packaging, storage, logistics and distribution center. The storage expansion includes additional controlled room-temperature and cold-chain storage capabilities. An earlier investment by PCI targeted a state-of-the-art dedicated high-containment packaging facility specializing in commercial primary and secondary packaging for all solid oral dose forms including specialized and high potency products.

PCI has another clinical services facility in Bridgend, UK, as well as sites in the US and Australia. In announcing the Dublin expansion, CEO Salim Haffar noted that it will “support growing demand from our customers and providing a solution for Brexit,” since the Republic of Ireland remains within the EU.
