LSPedia, Pharma Logistics Strike Up Supply Chain Visibility Collaboration

LSPedia, a provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) traceability solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, has formed a strategic partnership with Pharma Logistics, a company that specializes in pharmaceutical reverse distribution.1 The goal of this newly established relationship is to provide data visibility, compliance, and supply chain efficiency.

Pharma Logistics' business model also happens to be powered by compliance, which features the proper handling of pharmaceuticals and aligning with the broader industry goal of improving healthcare affordability.

The collaboration between the two parties is expected to offer customers with a boost in value via various avenues. The integrated solution will have to the capability to provide health systems and pharmacies—along with other stakeholders—access to full pharma supply chain visibility, starting with manufacturing, all the way through end-of-life processing. The intention is to have one source be able to make end-to-end supply chain decisions.

In other LSPedia news, the provider was granted a national group purchasing agreement with healthcare improvement company Premier, Inc., signifying that it will now be providing the company’s network of approximately 4,350 US hospitals and health systems, and more than 300,000 other providers and organizations, with complete DSCSA) services.2
