Development project features 150,000 square feet of additional space to accommodate company’s 3PL offerings
J. Knipper and Company, Inc. (Knipper) has completed the expansion of its distribution center in Charlestown, IN. The growth of this facility includes an additional 150,000 square feet of space, which offers refrigeration capacity of 1,500 pallets and a drive-in freezer.
As a supplier of pharma healthcare marketing services, Knipper offers custom pharmacy solutions and supply chain services to the US pharma industry. The latest announcement, Knipper says, allows the company to further develop its third-party logistics (3PL) services.
“Our mission is to work with our clients to create solutions that are strategically designed, faithfully executed, and driven by market insight and data to ensure maximum return on our client’s investments, and ultimately, to improve people’s lives,” notes Mike Laferrera, Knipper president and CEO. “This expansion of our Charlestown, IN, facility will help us work toward that, and we appreciate the state of Indiana, the city of Charlestown, River Ridge Commerce Center, and 1si [One Southern Indiana] for their efforts in helping us expand to meet new demands.”
