Acquires a government pricing and contracting data provider
IntegriChain has announced the acquisition of Medical Communication Technologies, Inc., an Acworth, GA, provider of government pricing and contracting software and services. The company operates a cloud-based data platform to some 35 brand and generic manufacturers, which IntegriChain says will add to its 100+ customer base.
“We are excited to join forces with IntegriChain and contribute to solving the access challenges that manufacturers face in today’s increasingly complex managed market environment,” said Randy Perry, president of MCT.
IntegriChain buckets its services into market access (for analyzing contracting terms and commercial performance); patient access (analyzing formulary placements, copay programs and payer influences); and distribution (wholesaler agreements, channel data and gross-to-net analysis). These services are united under a cloud-based platform called ICyte, pulling data from Rx sales and claims, EDI channel reports and other sources. The company received a “strategic equity investment from Accel-KKR in 2016, and in the past year acquired a competitor (Pharmametrics) and opened a new business process outsourcing center in Amber, PA.
