The Foundation arm of HDA will fund up to four $2,500 scholarships per year to candidates currently working at HDA members (distributors or manufacturers) who “demonstrate leadership, innovation, commitment to the industry and a desire to promote the greater good of their organization,” as well as indicating the current or intended graduate-level program they study.
“The formation of a graduate-level scholarship builds on our expanded focus on fulfilling the educational mission of the Foundation,” said Perry Fri, COO of the HDA Research Foundation (HDA also sponsors a professional-development program, Convene). “Supporting the academic advancement of HDA-member professionals will not only enhance their future growth, but also the efficiency and effectiveness of the pharmaceutical supply chain.”
