Effort displays the diverse perspectives, skills, and people involved with the healthcare supply chain, as industry aims to continue to push DE&I forward.
The Healthcare Distribution Alliance (HDA) launched a new initiative, “We Are Health Delivered,” to emphasize the pharma distribution’s industry’s commitment to delivering health to communities across America. As part of the launch, HDA is releasing a new 30-second national advertisement that spotlights the people working behind the scenes for a common purpose: distributing 10 million medicines, healthcare products, and vaccines safely, efficiently, and reliably each day.
HDA’s latest initiative showcases the industry’s leadership in advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) within the healthcare distribution sector. As highlighted in the latest ad, the industry’s collective strength comes from bringing different backgrounds, perspectives, and communities together.
“‘We Are Health Delivered’ shows how HDA members harness the power of a diverse and innovative workforce to ensure pharmacies, hospitals, providers, and ultimately patients get the medicines they need—no matter the circumstances,” says Chester “Chip” Davis, Jr., president and CEO, HDA. “This initiative is a natural extension of HDA’s ongoing efforts to communicate the role and value of distribution, as well as the association’s burgeoning efforts and commitment to diversity in our workforces, our workplaces, and the people we serve.”
