HDA to hold its International Pharmaceutical Distribution Conference in Geneva

Registration is now open for the IPDC, sponsored by the Healthcare Distribution Alliance. While there are a few other organizations that bring together pharmaceutical distributors on a global basis (notably the International Federal of Pharmaceutical Wholesalers (IFPW), which is a sponsor of this meeting), IPDC is notable for addressing key operational and strategic issues for pharmaceutical distributors globally. And that, in turn, is a testament to the growing internationalization of pharmaceutical distribution, with each of the Big Three having business interests outside the US, and Walgreens Boots Alliance, for one, having distribution operations both in its European base and in the US.Registration is now open for the IPDC, sponsored by the Healthcare Distribution Alliance. • Pharmaceutical product traceability/medicines verification efforts from a global perspective;
• Value-based outcomes and reimbursement; • The political and policy landscape shaping distribution in Europe and the US;
• The financial outlook for the global pharmaceutical market; and,• The development and role of biosimilars.
