CSafe Introduces New Reusable Pallet Shipper
The Silverpod MAX RE offers real-time shipment visibility, while also helping companies accomplish their sustainability goals.
CSafe, a provider of powered, temperature-controlled air-freight containers for pharmaceuticals, is unveiling a new reusable pallet shipper, the Silverpod MAX RE.1 The company is describing it as an updated version of its single-use Silverpod MAX and is expected to help clients meeting their sustainability goals, boost shipping transparency, and save money on disposal costs.
As alluded to previously, CSafe has enhanced its Silverpod MAX passive pallet shipper by designing a heavy-duty PCM pallet shipper that’s solely made of reusable components, which is virtually a must within the pharmaceutical logistics industry; finding ways to preserve the environment is nearly a prerequisite.
Alongside sustainability, the pallet shipper reportedly offers over 120 hours of qualified thermal protection, supported by exterior panels that can withstand wear and tear. CSafe is responsible for controlling both the lifecycle and return of the product, so that customers don’t have to worry about disposal costs.
Other new features include a built-in TracSafe RLT data logger that tracks a shipment’s location. It syncs with the company’s branded digital supply chain platform, CSafe Connect, providing customers with real-time shipment visibility from Point A to Z. Further, it simultaneously tracks tilt, GPS location, payload temperature, and external ambient temperature.

Speaking of cold chain/cryogenics, CSafe also launched a new line of cryogenic multi-use dewars for the cell and gene therapy market earlier this year.2 The dewars are able to preserve temperatures colder than -150°C, and could be an option for pre-frozen biologic materials, immunotherapies, regenerative medicine, stem cells, and CAR-T cells.
