Acquisition reportedly increases AI accessibility across life sciences organizations
Aktana, a software company specializing in intelligent customer engagement for the life sciences, has acquired Ople.AI’s machine learning automation technology. According to Aktana, the deal puts artificial intelligence (AI) access into the hands of non-data scientists, which makes it simpler for companies of all sizes to utilize AI. With Ople.AI’s technology, Aktana notes, its branded modular solution—which features its software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform—can potentially help speed up AI adoption across commercial decision-makers.
The announcement comes at a time when many companies are applying AI in order to prioritize the various obstacles they face in today’s digital-first landscape.
By streamlining the building and use of machine learning with back-end automation, users, including those without a technical background, will have the capability of creating and managing their own models on Aktana’s platform. The software company will also be adding to its collection of pre-built machine learning models.
